It’s great when things sometimes come together without even knowing it and this painted maple change table dresser was no exception. Last summer, my husband and I took a nice leisurely drive along “Lakeshore” Rd along Lake Erie between Dunnville and Port Colborne. We stopped along some of the access points to put our feet in the sand and soak up the sun and sounds of the water. Along the way, we came across this wonderful maple dresser that we found curbside. What a treat….that and a fresh pickerel lunch, yum.
This lovely painted maple change table dresser needed some cleaning up but was in great shape. Nothing a little paint and TLC couldn’t handle. I went to my goto Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Duck Egg Blue…. perfect colour for a change table. I sealed this piece with Artisan Enhancements Clear Topcoat that is a non-yellowing all natural soy oil based product.
This beauty also deserved to have some new hardware and so some new off-white ceramic knobs were added and brass handles. It’s the perfect height and base for a baby changing mat in the nursery.
It measures: 50″W x 19″D x 34″H
