Fun is the name of the game with this front door painted bench. I knew I had to have another one ever since I finished the “Hillview” a couple of months ago. I named this piece”Annie” because it was found in St. Anne’s, a small community south of Grimsby, Ontario.
I just love the curvaceousness of this piece, very feminine and pretty. I chose Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old White with a little distressing and wax for protection and durability.
There is something to be said about design and functionality. This piece is small enough to fit into most foyers/front halls/ or as in our case the mudroom yet it provides a place to have a seat while putting your boots on, storage for your mitts and hats, a couple of cool hooks to hang your coat and a mirror to get a quick look at yourself before you head out the door.
It measures: 24″W x 15″D x 76″H
