This lovely Country Chic night Table was my first ever night table I ever purchased for myself some twenty-five years ago. It was a very dear investment for me when I moved into my first apartment. It was purchased with a matching armoire/dresser that I still have in my guest room. It’s a lovely quality pine piece made by a company called Kincade furniture out of North Carolina.
I first stripped and sanded the top of the table and used my go-to favourite General Finishes Java Gel Stain and Gel Topcoat to finish. The rest of the three drawer beauty was painted in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Old White. The edges, including the lovely country chic motif just above the top drawer, was lightly distressed to high-lite all those wonderful shapes. The paint was then waxed to a high shine with ASCP Soft Clear Wax.
The country chic night table measures: 24″ W x 15″ D x 24″ H

Looks great! I am wondering where you get the gel stain that you used.

Thanks Mary Lou!
In southern Ontario where I live I pick mine up at Lee Valley tools.
But you can also order it on line through Amazon. I have a link in my post.
Hope this helps!
